We’re on the lookout for an SEO Executive with previous experience working within the SEO field, either client or agency side. You will have an understanding of the underlying principles of Search Engine Optimisation and will be looking to build your knowledge and experience to improve your abilities in SEO.
You will have already spent at least 6 months in a similar role, or with similar experience in a wider digital marketing role. You will be passionate about digital marketing, keen to learn and continuously looking to improve your abilities. Possessing a logical approach to problem-solving and researching will be a very important skill, and the ability to communicate both verbally and in writing with colleagues and clients is also essential to the role.
Working within our already-established SEO team, you will support the agency's SEO clients by carrying out a variety of tasks to help drive improvements in performance. Exposure to other areas of digital marketing is also something that you will benefit from, as you work across a range of clients in the agency. Reporting to our Head of SEO, you will be given full training and exposure to industry-leading tools to expand and improve your knowledge and abilities.
Working directly with clients and colleagues in planning and implementing SEO campaigns and digital marketing strategies;
Client management including regular and comprehensive reporting, phone calls and video conferencing;
Attending client meetings;
Learning about the latest techniques and accepted understanding of current best practice methods;
Market and keyword research to identify opportunities;
Carry out technical audits and analyses on clients websites, and produce actions plans on how to address issues found
Creating on-page content briefs based on keyword research, client need and competitor performance
Producing backlink analysis and devising plans to improve the backlink profile for clients
Managing and running link acquisition campaigns for our clients
Manage a portfolio of clients, and work within a team to help manage existing clients
Good and improving knowledge of SEO
Understanding of technical SEO considerations
Understanding of offsite SEO considerations
Abilities and knowledge of Google Analytics and Google Search Console
Good knowledge and abilities in Excel / Google Sheet
Understanding of web development
Experience using SEMRush, Screaming Frog, AHRefs and other SEO tools an advantage
Understanding of content optimisation considerations
Able to work to deadlines and prioritise and manage time across multiple projects
Excellent interpersonal, communication skills
Good attention to detail;
Must be a UK resident or work permit holder
